An interesting experiment toward finding a cure for osteoarthritis was funded by the Arthritis Foundation. In this study, done by an international research team, 75 people with mild to moderate OA were given an extract of the herb Boswellia (1/3 received placebo). All participants were assessed for pain and physical ability both before and after the study.
