Senator Kennedy Speaks at the Convention

Ted Kennedy, renowned advocate of health reform who is fighting his own health care battle now, highlighted the magnitude of our challenge. The Senator for us all made the need for health care reform the focus of his speech in unambiguous terms:
"This is the cause of my life -- new hope that we will break the old gridlock and guarantee that every American -- north, south, east, west, young, old -- will have decent, quality health care as a fundamental right and not a privilege."
