State Survey on Budgets and Medicaid Policy
On Monday, September 29, the Kaiser Family Foundation’s Commission on Medicaid and the Uninsured (KCMU) will release its eighth annual 50-state survey on Medicaid spending and enrollment trends as well as new policy directions. This year’s study explores the initial impacts of the slowing economy on Medicaid spending and enrollment, state officials’ expectations for changes in the near future, and an update on recent Medicaid policy changes. The annual study is authored by researchers at Kaiser and at Health Management Associates. Full results will be posted on the Foundation's web site on the afternoon of Sept. 29.
