Texas Hot Line for Homebound Persons with Disabilities in Areas Damaged by Hurricane Ike
If you have concerns regarding persons with disabilities in Houston, Beaumont, Orange and Port Arthur areas that are home-bound, the Texas Department on Aging and Disabilities has established a hot line, (713) 558–9622, that can be called. Two meals a day, water and ice are presently being provided. A door to door inspection is being undertaken to observe the status and disposition of those individuals.
