National Center for Benefits Outreach and Enrollment - Funding Opportunity

The National Center for Benefits Outreach and Enrollment is seeking local or state organizations that are interested in finding and enrolling both seniors and younger beneficiaries with disabilities who have limited income and resources in public benefit programs. The Center seeks to fund 10 grants of up to $100,000 each for the implementation of Benefits Enrollment Centers (BECs) that use person-centered strategies in a coordinated, community-wide approach.

This grant program, funded by the U.S. Administration on Aging, seeks to strengthen local infrastructure and make the enrollment process as seamless as possible for consumers and their families.

Dates:

• Letters of intent are requested by Nov. 24, and
• applications are due Dec. 22.

There will be two conference calls to address questions about the grant program on Nov. 17 and 20.
