A Documentary That Makes Phelps's Golds Look Easy by Comparison
By MATTHEW FUTTERMAN, Wall Street Journal (subscription required)
On Sept. 6, the Chinese opened the Paralympic Games with nearly as much fanfare as they opened the Summer Olympics a month before. And in many instances, the efforts during the next 12 days make even Mr. Phelps's record-setting performances seem pedestrian.
NBC Sports has captured the spirit and heartbreak of the Paralympics in an emotional documentary that will air Sunday at 2:30 p.m. EST. If there is a football game you can't miss at that time, figure out a way to TiVo this special because it will change the way you watch any swimming or track and field event.
