Walker, Washington Correspondent, MedPage Today Fiscally conservative House Democrats protested their own party's healthcare reform bill, while the powerful Senate Finance Committee still failed to produce formal legislation. All things considered, it wasn't a week packed with progress in Congress. Mainstream Democrats in the House planned on releasing a final draft of their bill by Friday, but a group of fiscal conservatives known as "Blue Dogs," derailed the effort with a last-minute letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif) and Majority Leader Steny H.
