Medical News: Surrogates Divided about End-of-Life Advice - in Pulmonary, General Pulmonary from MedPage Today

Caregivers for critically ill patients often do not want a doctor's advice about end-of-life decisions, a survey suggests.
"While a slight majority did prefer doctors to help them make those difficult decisions, many felt that it was a decision they wanted to make without guiding input from doctors, other than an explanation of the options," Douglas B. White, MD, of the University of California San Francisco, said in a statement.
