Weather patterns may play a role in prostate cancer risk, researchers say.
Cold weather and low rainfall -- characteristic of more northern climes -- were associated with increased incidence of prostate cancer, Sophie St-Hilaire, PhD, of Idaho State University in Pocatello, and colleagues reported online in the International Journal of Health Geographics.
