New German Robot Designed to Help Caregivers

A new robot being developed in Germany is expected to be on the market within the next few years. Researchers hope that the machine, called Casero, will hopefully be able to accommodate some of the growing need for health products and services by aging baby boomers and seniors, according to TMCNet.com.

Unlike other electronic caretakers under development, Casero is strictly designed as a service vehicle for senior living homes and can carry up to 100 kilograms.
