IGSW has announced receipt of two important workforce grants for the coming year from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In an innovative initiative to strengthen and integrate training across Pennsylvania, IGSW will work with key stakeholders in the disability and aging communities, including consumers, to develop a comprehensive, interactive, skill-based online training course for workers assessing older adults and people with disabilities for Pennsylvania's Long-term Care Living programs. In the second grant, IGSW will provide online training in aging to adult protective service workers in the Commonwealth. For more information about the new programs, contact Alan Park, apark@bu.edu.
