Medical News: Key Differences in House and Senate Healthcare Bills - in Washington-Watch, Washington Watch from MedPage Today
The Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee completed its nearly month-long markup earlier this week, and in a 13 to 10 party-line vote, sent the finished bill to the Senate floor.
The bill contains several major differences from legislation now pending in the House of Representatives that would have to be hammered out before a reform package is finally enacted.
